Welcome to the official homepage
  for the Prescott-Caborca Sister City program —
  Prescott, AZ and Heroica Caborca, Sonora, Mexico.
On recognizing the similarities between Prescott and Caborca in 1972, several local citizens groups began to develop a harmonious, cultural, and educational relationship with our neighbors to the South. Thus began the affiliation in a Sister City program — the charitable organization sponsored for the international exchange of friendship and culture — that spans almost three decades.

To focus community interest in building a better climate
towards world understanding by fulfilling the desire
of the citizens of the Prescott area to learn about the
peoples of Heroica Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, through
reciprocal visits, and cultural and educational
